Trying not to jinx it
It's chilly and gray today, and I couldn't be happier. I'm actually trying not to get too excited about it, because I remember last August: you know, the one when we had a couple of deliciously cool weeks followed by unbelievable heat well into November.
But nevertheless, I wore a jacket this morning and drank hot coffee and was filled with glee. Glee, I say.
Yeh, the weather here in the UK has shifted back from Stinking Hot to Tolerable With a Slight Chill.
Which is fine for me, being the sunlight-hating, low temperature-loving creature I am.

Phew, I'm glad I'm not the only one that really enjoys it when crazy heat goes away. We had the most autumnal August in England I can remember, and I loved it. I could get things done without sweating profusely.

Sweeet. Good news that others are getting cool weather. Summer's been trying to do it's last hurrah in the bay area but hasn't been successful so we've lucked out so far. Three cheers for Fall!
